Welcome to the Macclesfield CFA Webpage

Macclesfield CFA has been an active Emergency Service organisation in Macclesfield since 1951! We currently protect over 120sq Km of land, homes and businesses, we also work with neighbouring brigades to keep the communities of Emerald, Cockatoo, Monbulk, Yellingbo, and Avonsleigh safe.

The area covers approximately 350 properties.  The area includes parts of the Yellingbo Fauna & Conservation Reserve State Forest which is the home of the endangered Helmeted Honeyeater, the state fauna emblem of Victoria.

The brigade is run totally by volunteers and encourages new members to join.  The Brigade currently has 30 Active members and 10 Non Operational Members (including the Feeding Group)

Our website aims to keep the local community informed of the Macclesfield Fire Brigade's activities including upcoming events, provide information on being prepared for the pending fire season and acknowledge sponsors and donations for fundraising projects.

Macclesfield Fire Brigade is currently raising funds for 2 large projects;

1) Generator

2) Replacement Fire Truck

Please see the fundraising page for each projects specifications.
